I went to UC Berkeley, where I got a BA in Theater, and a BA in Mass Communications. I then went on to UCLA, where I received an MFA in film production. I wrote and directed the feature film "True Crime," starring Alicia Silverstone and Kevin Dillon, and have written screenplays for Touchstone Pictures, FX, and Disney’s animation division. I've worked as a story consultant for Disney/Pixar, and my short films have screened at festivals around the world. I teach screenwriting in UCLA Extension’s Creative Writing program, and work with InsideOUT Writers, a non profit that leads writing workshops for incarcerated kids at Central Juvenile Hall in Los Angeles.
